What is Kambo?
Kambo is a sacred Amazonian secretion from the Phyllomedusa bicolor (Giant Monkey Frog). Known as "warrior medicine," it has been used for centuries by indigenous tribes for purification and resilience.
Kambo is not a psychedelic. It does not produce visions; instead, it provides a deep somatic "reset." By communicating directly with your body’s systems, it clears physical stagnation and emotional blockages, inviting you back to your natural state of inner strength.
The Science of the "Reset"
Kambo contains a unique cocktail of bioactive peptides that your body recognizes and integrates instantly. These compounds cross the blood-brain barrier to trigger systemic healing, resetting the immune system and nervous system. The experience is intense, but it leads to a lasting state of heightened awareness known as Kambo Clarity.
Benefits May Include:
Deep Detox: Flushes toxins and heavy metals from the organs.
Immune & Mental Boost: Resets natural defenses and clears "brain fog."
Nervous System Regulation: Helps shift the body from "fight or flight" into a state of grounded calmness.
Lymphatic Drainage: Stimulates the lymphatic system to improve circulation and reduce systemic inflammation.
Physical Endurance: Historically used to sharpen the senses and increase stamina and physical strength.
Clearing "Panema": Releasing the energetic cloud of bad luck, depression, or stagnation.
Trauma Release: Moving old patterns and emotional weight out of cellular memory.
Intuition: Sharpening inner guidance and restoring self-trust.
The Ceremonial Process
Opening & Grounding: We open the circle with Hapé (sacred tobacco snuff) to ground your energy and anchor your intention. (Hapé and Sananga are always optional).
Ancestral Roots: We honor the medicine's history and solidify your "why" for the journey.
Opening the Gates: Tiny, superficial points are opened on the skin. You will then drink 1–1.5 liters of water to support the physical purge.
The Application: As Kambo is applied, you may feel heat or a racing heart. This "warrior phase" involves a physical/emotional purge (sweating, vomiting, or crying) to release what no longer serves you.
Rest & Sananga: Once the medicine is removed, you’ll rest in deep stillness. Sananga (eye drops) may be offered here to clear mental fog.
Closing: we conclude with gratitude and integration guidance to help you carry the clarity into your daily life.
Preparing Your Vessel
Fast: No food for 8–12 hours prior to ceremony.
Hydrate: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up.
Cleanse: No alcohol, processed foods, or recreational drugs for 48+ hours.
Set Intent: Reflect on the blockages you are ready to surrender.
